Volatility risk premium is very similiar to option pricing. Black-Scholes option pricing was figured out how to calculate the risk of stock option put and call contracts. In a way, BitUSD is very similiar to a put option of the a dollar. (A put option is method of allowing someone to sell something (ie a stock) at a set price)(A call is a an option to allow someone to buy something at a set price.) Put and Call options are very mature derivatives on the CBOE. I would love to have put and call contracts on Cryptocurrencies. It would be awesome to have a put and calls on BTS. I think it is theoretically possible. At first we could easily institute a call option on BTS as the issuer could be required to hold BTS when the contract is written. The Chicago Board of Options Exchange has specific rules on who can issue options and how many. It has a lot to do on the firms underyling solvency.

True Monte Carlo analysis gets its stregth from testing assumptions against random data. One can run a simulation very qucikly. Using random number generator in Excel I can do simulations every few seconds. So one can do hundreds and thousands of simulations and then take the average of them. This is very useful for this type an alanysis. I would be happy to help set something up. What we are testing, and what we want to learn, and what the propoer parameters are is all important. i understand that computer programmers can program these simulations programs from scratch, but I believe that is overkill. The software already exists...

Mssr is only a temporary discount until margin calls are bought. If you make that discount bigger margin calls will get bought faster

Then bitfinex removed all coins from circultion, added the $1 to everyones account and basically only paid 730k to revive a hack f $73m as the rest came from the market buying the debt

No, they said they would redeem the bfx tokens for 1 usd in the future wihout ever trading themselves. Of course, they lied, they were buying it back undercover at lower prices. Naturally, they couldn't buy them all, so they indroduced virtual equity shares that one could buy with the bfx tokens. Lovely isn't it? It's so romantic when a cex cares so deeply about their customers...And finally, after redeeming small portion of bfx, they dilluted the rest of the debt by issuing tether and story is to be continued...

The equity and tether are separate to the BFX token. The BFX token represented a debt of 1 USD from bitfinex to the customer. They traded and bought back and burned those tokens for a few months until the market saw that that it was almost as good as 1:1. Bitfinex then bought all outstanding tokens and repaid the debt with a balance of USD in the users account. The assumption is that they were good for the money as nobody has claimed not being able to have got their USD out of Bitfinex back then

It should be fixed by now. I was using bitUSD dex price to avoid applying BSIP42 on bitRuble, but since bitUSD peg has been lost (due to global settlement) it impacted other assets. I now use bitUSD feed price as witness now publish non bsip42 price again.

Every crypto reflects what bitcoin does and vice versa, but that's not the point..The point is, GS price is where it is for a reason, from trading point of view, it's there because it's hell of a strong historical support and you will see the same on the bitcoin chart... Bitcoin dumps don't happen without probabilities..Dumping from 20000 to 3500 has a totally different probability than dumping from 3500 to 1000, these are not the same dumps...

Doubt it, this is China. The device I bought was called keybox but the outside of device box and instruction set is covered with GTS logo and wording. Likely this is the manufacturer who’s coopting the device for other applications too

well its not easy to model every aspect in uml. what i meant is bitshares is a wallet for stable coins that convert into each other seamlessly. its mirroring the function of visa/mastercard or swift. it can replace banking. just depends on how it defines itself. dpos is a implementation detail. witnesses are as well. we could move along when technology changes and the brand could stay the same representing the values

Well it might not be that hard, one could use the facial recognition software to create a unique ID and use that. Such a technology could require a photo every time you send/receive money. (that might sound creepy but there are cameras at every ATM now) and there are security cameras in many stores... people take a selfie all the time. So it not that much different.
