The current UI is objectively fit for purpose, and a big improvement on what it was previously. The team do a good job of continuously improving it. Loosing your account keys matters because this is a functioning blockchain, not a centralised kindergarten.

I don't think the holder is forced to immediately exchange their bitasset, rather the backing is taken from the borrowers and put in a settlement pool from which the bitasset holders can decide optionally to force settle against, no?

Nop I did mean "in case of a GS". The reason is this: If you have a call position/short position, it means you are bullish and thus willing to take the short side to gain later on. A global settlement terminates your short position prematurely.

development in bitshares is good IMO, albeit we would all wish it was more and faster lol, but we need to start thinking more business minded, how we can bring in more users (customers) and start making bitshares profitable

If I may divert your attention to PalmPay I see that teller might provide an easy cash in cash out solution. Best is, they can't be liable if the legal form of the business is changed.
