they actually did a pretty good job in dev onboarding, utilizing a popular language like c++ and its ecosystem, providing clean apis and documentation and all the tools / runtime to get started are actually working or at least easily fixable (again existing / standard language and tools) etc.... huge contrast to ethereum and evm/solidity imo... they failed till today to provide anything close to a stable toolchain. not to mention the language that looks like somebody just wanted to build another language for the fun of it - without any actual value, simply obscure

Bitshares isn't a scam and bitUSD / bitCNY have been running successfully for years. They are the least scammy and most transparent stablecoins of the lot! You can criticise and worry about projects launched on Bitshares just like you can worry about thinks launched on ERC20.

I think the liquidity problem is linked to the low price of BTS personally. Supply is limited at the minute because it's so hard to make. If we get some excitement about bitUSD and bitCNY people will start realising they can make them by owning BTS. Price of BTS goes up and the amount of stablecoins in circulation goes up.

agree on that however there is a big amount of bitassets on the side waiting and not willing to buy at that price or maybe based on the market conditions. So playing with feeds etc won't help much if the feeds change dynamicly as you never know when increasing your debt if you won't get margin called soon even the market is not moving. Not very healthy market condition for creating debt. If somebody takes debt and gives his collateral he doesn't want and need this kind of risk

Ether delta isn’t in charge of what gets listed . Anyone can list an Erc 20 coin as being for sale . I’m not sure how this guy was responsible for allowing security tokens to be listed . No one even knows which tokens are security tokens as there is no clear sec ruling

There was a nice fellow on YouTube who I’ve contacted recently, he had an old video how he conducted commerce. He told me he no longer does it since all the sovereign people keep insisting to disclose the information and the goverment finds ways to close these loop holes. While I still think there should be basic principles which apply, I’ve seen this is difficult to do for most people.

So unfortunately I still don’t know how to conduct commerce or choose legal forms and be outside of the jurisdiction of most governments. However there’s a group of people led by Anna von Reitz (a judge, albeit a common law one I think), she wrote Disclosure 101 on Amazon. I still have to read it and it’s about the United States, so not where I live 🙁 But if she is right, and I’m pretty sure she is then that has __profound__ implications. Good stuff.

I think someone should start prodding them, asking questions, look at how they reply, what they know / what they think. And make sure all the documents are on a blockchain as evidence. I have some experience with communicating with government in two countries - even though you are nervous at first you’ll sound realize they are just rambling. Even so called experts on EOS Gov they’ll just either dismiss it, don’t know or attack you ad hominem which is funny 🙂

A lot of Americans who code blockchain will probably now need to renounce citizenship since they are arresting anyone who writes a smart contract. America isn’t really land of the free . It hasn’t been for a long time . Too bad we can’t create a bitshares nation or eos nation complete with passports so people would have a domicile to fight against the sec and other us bully organizations . I know ppl who have a passport for liberland . You can buy citizenships. I don’t know that it’s been tested in a legal battle yet .

We analyzed your question. The reason is that you register your bts account in account mode, but you change your memo public key in blockchain. So the app couldn’t get your memo private key from your login password locally. To this problem, we will update the app to warn this issue and reject user to send asset if his memo private key does not match to memo public key in blockchain. You have two way to solve this problem. One is that you change your memo public key back before. (It should be same to your active public key) Another is that you can try to transfer your asset in the place where have your memo private key.
