Which leads me to the connectivity issues, Stefan. I think there are issues that seems to be connectivity but really is not. I have a feeling it is locally stored files that acts like it. Probably this is the reason we direct project specific talk to other channels? OL set themselves as proxy by default which isnt cool in my view, Bitcrab has one of the main exchanges now proxying to him which I feel a bit 😕 about. BEOS were at least clear staking meant proxying and they've not voted for anything nefarious so far. I suspect if they did people would start unstaking.

It certainly makes sense for holders of BitShares who are BEOS supportres to have a couple reps in committee and a say in selection of witnesses. No apologies necessary. It will lead to deeper integration to BitShares and BEOS if that's what you mean by "protocol changes" . This will make BitShares into a full up EOS side chain benefitting from 4 billion in EOS development. Since BEOS will boost BitShares utility, we are paying 700K+ to benefit all BitShares holders.

Everbloom is located in San Fran iirc, hence the higher price. Fact is, atomic swaps are the future and every step closer to supporting it as well gives businesses the tools they need. Core, UI, UX, and in multiple languages across multiple chains. Spend money, on the things that will make our DAC money. Paying half price for fiverr devs to build us something this advanced would be a very bad idea.

i have. point of sale, mobile wallets, Tellers, offline transfers (and opening the doors to 3rd world adoption), removing cex's and other middlemen/middlechains, many many uses for atomic swaps and the more tools we have, the more businesses that can come to Bitshares and build stuff on our chain, no permission needed, all FOSS too.

and you're also right about the price. it is very high. i have paid very high prices for some very small libs in the past too, but it was well worth it in the longrun, a good investment since i can now use those little libs for all kinds of cool stuff that merchants ask for, as 1 example.
