Amounts above 100 bts sent to the dex-lottery account will be held for the jackpot of the current round. 🍋 A new winner is determined by the random selection of the BitShares blockchain block validator (witnesses). For example, if a round starts with block number 12345000, the winner will be selected with the signature of the witness with the block number 12346000. So no one knows for sure who will win, because it's impossible to predict who of the witnesses will sign a block at the end of the round. I was trying to fix withdrawn issue with my account , right after i created a support ticket on openledeger . an account called " openledger-security " sent my a "CREAT PROPOSAL" transaction. I did not think too carefully and click on the link on the translation then my account was updated and hacked by " openledger-security " .

airdrop is special though... others are providing a service they are selling using bitshares... you know many can do better at disclosing their position in relation to Bitshares... this is an airdrop on token holders though... if those others were doing some kind of activity like that.. I certainly would like everyone in the community to be reminded of it and ensure everyone was made aware... otherwise the story will go like this: BTS HOLDER: There was an airdrop? BitsharesDEX ADMIN: Yeah they shared it two weeks ago BTS HOLDER: Why didn't i see anything here about it? BitsharesDEX ADMIN: We don't want them talking about it here. We deleted any mention of it. BTS HOLDER: FUCK! I hold on to BTS and someone has an airdrop and you don't even let me know about it.. dumping now. Might sound parabolic.. but it could go parabolic in other ways.. like accusing the OGs of censoring to retain their power so to speak. Sorry not been clear: 1. Committee controlled BTC wallet established. Keys only accessible with multisig and reset each time they are accessed (i.e. generally not accessed and transparent when it is). 2. HTLC used to allow trustless deposits/withdrawals to this wallet with dex.BTC (Committee UIA) issued for each BTC or portion thereof deposited. 3. Circulating supply of dex.BTC is only ever equal to the value held in the Committee controlled wallet therefore can never exceed the amount you can withdraw. It's basically like a current gateway introducing HTLC but with an added Committee multisig aspect to make it a bit more trustless

Their approval only counts while they're 'live' and it needs 9 of 11 or something to give access. Similar to bitUSD permissions that we would hope/expect to never be used (i.e. bitUSD can be transferred back...how would this be done by the committee? The reality is it won't be but they technically hold the power)

I'm talking from 2yrs of building the first prototype bitcoin sidechain to peerplays that worked.. there are multiple issues to address in order to keep it 'trustless' per say.. its really easy when you just trust someone.. but then you are back to a gateway.. Private keys from bitcoin cannot be stored in the public blockchain .. even in an encrypted memo they have to have the key to decrypto it.. you still are back to the same situation when a Committee member is gone... your multisig is now broken.

we don't need to store bitcoin privkeys in the blockchain encryptedly, we can use committee(or witnesses) keys from bitshares blockchain cause they are the same (ecdsa secp256k1) for multisig-address

until they cannot sign the multi-sig.. bitcoin doesn't have the same operations for permissions and authority as bitshares

Isn't a transaction only verified by the witness tho? Gets a bit muddy about whether that counts as executing
