There is no default worker vote requirement. There is a refund worker that eats up all the BTS, but it's treated as any other worker. So people can vote the refund worker, which implicitly raises the threshold for other workers. The only rule is: X BTS daily payout (X depends on amount in reserve pool) go to the voters with most votes until daily payout is drained

Looking good! However, I noticed an inconsistency in the terminology, witness vs. delegate. IMO the term witness is misleading and should be replaced all over in favor of delegate.

There is a legal reason why BPs are called "witnesses"; it is b/c their primary role is to confirm the validity of transactions, not to set policy or play politics. They witness (i.e. confirm the validity of) transactions, and compute price feed values by `witnessing` various price sources. Unlike validating transactions, which is built into the core software, price feeds are an area where witnesses have complete control of all aspects of publishing asset prices. Publish interval, which assets prices are provided for, the source(s) of price quotes, whether to write the code to implement feeds yourself or use an open source program or script by someone else. The name "witness" is less applicable when you consider price feeds unless s/he uses a common feed script. If s/he creates a custom feed script it's less like the transaction validation role b/c the witness doesn't write the validation software.

???? - I don't understand that question. I've been vocal about this point for over a year. government agents can't prove jurisdiction - it's a religion - not based on logic and has no factual basis. Hitchen's razon of logic tells us we may dismiss their claim that the law applies if we ask them for proof of their claim and none is given. And taking this approach only works about 50% of the time. It's a hard approach. I will be releasing tokens for instances of people seeking remedy from harmful situations where they offer to forgive the harmdoer if the matter may be commemorated in the form of a token on a blockchain. From terminology when people say BitShares they should mean the BitShares Blockchain with its native BTS token and a sophisticated asset management platform. The DEX is one use case that is built in natively in the backend code. If you create an asset you could deactivate DEX listing by simply not allowing any markets for your token

From terminology when people say BitShares they should mean the BitShares Blockchain with its native BTS token and a sophisticated asset management platform. The DEX is one use case that is built-in natively in the backend code. If you create an asset you could deactivate DEX listing by simply not allowing any markets for your token

That's the best articulation of it all yet.

i introducing the plan of a effectiv refferal program which could compete against other major exchanges and asked if they where interrested in creating something like together with bithares network fee,OL and Gdex and that it would require arround 35-50% of their trading fee's. Of course if you watch these numbers you might think its much but people remember they are only paying this fee for new members which were reffered by webmasters .If the webmasters won't advertise it they will get 0 since there will be no additional members

This is an issue - I do think Bitcrabs main focus is increasing liquidity and supply of bitCNY so as to push adoption but realistically having a global settlement will (in my view) massively undermine adoption... We have a broader problem that the BTS price is just far too low to make bitUSD and CNY serious competitors in the smartcoin game

Could someone help me? BitShares document describes scheduled payment requires payee to claim the appointed(or allowed) amount each period. But is it possible for payer or blockchain to pay the appointed amount to payee automatically each reserved periods?
