As I am a big fan of bitfest and I want to see it happen (I even wrote a steemit in support of bitfest) I did ask him. And his answer to me was reasonable given the circumstances. I don't feel at liberty to share here what he said to me. But I'm sure he'd tell you why he's not supporting it if you ask him.

sure. but there is a huge conflict of interest between X and BBF and trying to meet BBF's recommendations only to get their (actually xeroc's) votes - it's not the good strategy, imo. BBF positions itself as an escrow (like blockchained does, and may be we could find even more escrow) . But voters looks (may be, not mandatory) for BBF "approval". Why not just looking in the proposal itself?

Good point. It needs to be made *much* more clear that BBF does **not** give approval to workers. There is a clear statement somewhere that says that BBF does **not** interfer with on-chain voting. Still, that doesn't solve **my** conflict of interest being in support for the BBF and a big proxy

No they haven't been returned, but that's because the SEC is also engaged in fraud with the receiver. The lawsuit against those members will lay it out for everyone adversely affected by those who fucked us bitshares holders who also invested in arisebank. I am studying "Stealth Transfer" feature to implement it in BitShares UI. In BitShares specification, "Stealth Transfer" feature is only provided by cli_wallet. I know that "Stealth Transfer" is based a special account, called "Blind Account". It is said that Blind Account isn't registered in Blockchain. I managed to know why blind account isn't registered in Blockchain. Based on my research, all txs from Blind Account is recorded in the file "wallet.json", not blockchain. So it's impossible for another account to check the balance and history of the blind account. Is this the reason why only cli_wallet support "Stealth Transfer" feature? Is there an appropriate way to implement "Stealth Transfer" in BitShares-UI? Could someone help me?

Ui, thanks for the update. Thought you and ken still have majority of it .. With respect to the new bsips on STEALTH phase2, so far they are mostly an information gathering an summary of exisiting privacy tech .. They do not yet contain specification for changing bitshares. The guy behind those, however, seem to understand crypto quite well.

I think your peoposal to have STEALTH redistributed makes sense .. Another lesson learned ist that when BitShares 'sells' features privately (thru FBA) it should be time-limited or have another means of encouraging the holder of the private feature to actually bring in usage of that feature

The only time I had the majority of STEALTH was when I had it all! Then bytemaster took the majority of it from me and turned it over to BitshresMunich who then had the majority of STEALTH. BitsharesMuncich sold their BLOCKPAY tokens partially on promises that BLOCKPAY token holders would get income from all STEALTH transactions. There should be some very angry BLOCKPAY investors 🙈

How was the initially investment done for STEALTH? Investors simply bought the tokens for a fixed price?

I invested in STEALTH in order to give bytemaster some income since he had rent and food and family support to pay. Bitshares holders would not vote in a worker to pay for his time. So I did it as an individual.

Perhaps, but an active core wp is now working on stealth which negates the fba, no? If the fba approach were to work it'd have delivered by now & there would be newly proposed fba for other projects. Instead we have a healthy wp system used by many which has real deliverables.

I can recall a discussion with dan about allowing to go short on BTS on the dex by allowing reverse bitasset .. Basically u use bitUSD as collateral for newly printed BTS ..
