So in that case they are correct, it is a BitShares problem, but they are also the ones who need to fix it by updating to latest version of BitShares core. Please do mention that to them. That worker was pretty underfunded as you can see here: https://workers.bitshares.foundation/201802-documentation We have soon stopped additional efforts on it to be sure we can at least pay outstanding costs ... The content of docs.bitshares.org/eu is mine and never was inteded to be "updated", but replaced by the new domains with more community involvement.

I was thinking about how the proxy/ voting system could be improved and IMO we need more proxies. We need to encourage more little communities or groups with proxies who represent them. Expecting everyone in the bitshares ecosystem is unrealistic. So how do we go about encouraging people to become proxies and to get them to fight for (and maintain) votes. To me the answer is simple. We need to offer a financial incentive for proxies. Incentives can be complex and have various requirements in order to receive, this part probably needs more thought/ discussion but here are a couple of ideas so far: -Proxy rewards only issued every 6 months. -Rewards based on some kind of balance between number of accounts voting for them and number of votes. So that someone with 1 voter holding 100mil doesnt give them a massive payout. -Rewards based on max number of votes, ie: if a proxy gains 100 votes but drops to 50 then no rewards until over 100 again, this would hopefully stop people constantly adding and removing votes to game the system. -Decaying proxy votes would also be included somehow in this system. The idea is to encourage more people to become proxies but to also reward them for constant growth of support. IMO this would encourage more users to remove votes from main proxies and start smaller groups and lobby votes from like minded people.

Dan wrote an article a long time ago about this but it seems to have vanished. He referred to it as grandparent.parent.child namespacing. It caught my attention because it provides extra security requiring you to build one account off of another, like you said.

I dont think holding bitUSD is any different than holding BTS as long as we are in the GS state. If you want to hedge against btc and bts price drop then fiat or any other stable coin is better imo.

the focus was on helping merchants and other businesses to easily issue their own tokens and also have "their own brand" wallet ( same engine but with customizable skins and logo ) .the taxi and limo app niche is using this approach..basically same billing engine but with the company logo and colour ..it would've been ideal for replacing gift cards, reward cards etc ..

3 months ago it was impossible to get an Editor for any major website.I tried it hard. Only solution was Reuters which i love btw . Costs arround $10k but they also buy arround 400k clicks on your article and there is a very high possibility it gets redistributed from major websites

as I said....vicious cycle....BTS needs to have value OUTSIDE the stablecoin function in order to be valid as collateral....can't really say BTS is valid collateral simply because it is used as collateral....

well, if more stable coins are needed price of bts goes up. i think thats a closed loop and good enough to support a economy that aligns the interests of speculators and savers. in the end every system derives its value from its usage or? otherwise we would have to back bitAssets with IOU representing real estate or whatever but that will come with all sorts of problems

i don't get ypour problem. its perfect. it's the beauty of BitShares. It's the only crypto with a clear purpose and value proposition. Even DAI is dilluted because the price of ETH is dependend on so many other factors than the usage or the demand for DAI

but for now my idea is very simple, you told about to get more money for DEX bot, so there are different solutions to get more money for DEX bot: 1. invite just 1 or 2 whales, 1 will be enough for start :) 2. invite more people with less money, something like ICO or crowdfunding
