In the other hand, Blocktivity will expand with lots of blockchain and other communities will stress test tjeir blockchain. I won't be able to keep up and remove every reccord other blockchain set and knopw when it's legit or artificial. I feel like I will leave it. It is real and it doesn't affect the average. Also, I will add charts to show the activity later on and curious ppl will be able to check these charts to see when and how these reccords have been set

I don't think that will happen. Turns out for some reason feed publishing adds lots of ops per publish transaction. Until witness.yao did this thing, I was 30% higher number of ops than any other witness, all due to how I publish feeds. Only witnesses can publish price feeds. Not sure how non-witnesss publish for asssets like HERO haven't looked at bts-tools code to see). So, I don't believe we'll see the same type of "stressing" coming in from non witnesses, not an attack vector for example.

Perhaps, but world doesn't use such distinctions. Not sure we actually measure transaction throughput, only ops. World may think that's a deception, but it's not; it's only our tech differs. It's like if they say we have zero hashes per sec. Of course, we're a different, non-hash-power chain.

The website is not on-chain, also not the binaries. You can however download the binaries of the app to your local computer. After that you only need connection to the Blockchain unless you want to update to a new version

The frontend of the exchange can be ran anywhere, even locally. The core blockchain nodes can also be hosted by anyone. Block producing nodes are spread out through out the world and for the most part hidden

I had my account hacked cleaned out on June 23, Account name TradeBoss, $15,000 stolen, and if you follow the funds 2 accounts in there were others that had there accounts cleaned out the same day $70k worth, which makes us not eligable for the repayment program that closed the day before June 22. bitshares.eu is setup properly again now (sorry for the downtime). Reason was a wrongly set IP for the domain and some subdomains (including faucet and node). The error has been fixed, methods have been put in place to prevent this from happending again. New DNS propagation may take a few hours until everyone has them. Sorry for the downtime. Goodthing tho, the reason for the initial DNS change was the migration to a much more redundant and reliable set of servers. Going forward i expect bitshares.eu to be much more robust and even faster than it is today.

The reimbursement campaign pertains to a phishing event where a hacker gained control of the openledger login page. For a few hours, before the login page was taken offline, the hacker was able to gain the login credentials of anyone trying to login on Friday June 8th. Openledger regained the log in credentials and it was safe to trade again a few days later. If you lost funds on the 21st, this would be due to something different than the event that the reimbursement campaign is addressing.
