Well upon review of bitsharestalk.org the precise date of the chain start is somewhat debatable. As Ronny and the whitepaper stated it was indeed literally started on the 13th. The date I have cemented in my mind and which I wrote about in all my works is the 15th, as that is the date on which we announced to the public and witness participation reached acceptable levels and all felt the new chain was working well and ready for the public. Your perception is `most altcoin wallets look the same`, but I respectfullly disagree. There are lterally 1000's of altcoin projects out there, many don't even have a graphical wallet, and there is no standard for any. Sure many share some common functionalities b/c they all interface to a blockchain, but that's about it. Also, there are radical differences on the features of the underlying blockchains the wallets interface with. Some provide voting, some are Proof Of Work with mining activity, others are Proof Of Stake and yet others are a hybrid. It will be years before a "standard" emerges if that's even possible.

I understand and respect your point @clockworkgr but after cexes trying to be dexes (binance, bithumb) we need a professional team. I known it's a high value/price but we spent money in the past ~8 months with unnecessary changes forgetting the real focus: the users. Just my opinion and I'll respect the decision of the voting community 😉

To be clear, I'll support the best proposal that will make a professional audit. Bill never want to listen my opinions and was rude together with some developer sci show character when I propose listen the users opinions. Because this is the only one, I support. If someone make another worker proposal regarding the community opinions for less money, I will support the new one. I tired to get complaints from users regarding the interface

The rates are in line with industry standard, the team seems great, and the approach makes sense. Timeframes seem reasonable also. We need industrial grade support imho, and there is a clear pathway to ROI on this work, making it an investment not a cost. Any improvements to BitShares UI and sensibility will improve onboarding and adoption, great for everyone.

The proposal is focused on improving BitShares for the whole community instead of offering yet another gateway that furthur splits up the current and future user audience. Furthermore, all the work will be open-source and available future use including clear styleguides that the any project within the BitShares community can use freely. The design deliverables include the wallet, trading pages, all menus, etc for tablet, pc, and mobile.

We have some other products other than the wallet such as draft.scorum.com scorum.com all of them are in MVP now but the traction on these products is really good already. That also mean that our team has an expertise in building blockchain interfaces which is very rare as there are almost no products on blockchain yet and we are among the first.
